What I wore: casual fall colours

This was an errand-running day: I wanted something cute but not too outrageous, with comfortable flats for walking and layers to help ward off the cold. This skirt is one of my favourites, but it features tiers of a heavy, semi-corduroy fabric, so I haven’t been able to wear it since last spring.

The brown socks have polka-dots in beige and dark green which normally make them impossible to coordinate with anything, but they work with this palette and give a touch of whimsy to the boots & jacket combo. The only thing missing is brass-toned rings; I have several that I really like, but have managed to misplace them in the chaos of my room!
